Details of Facilities

Following the completion of an additional large hall, we can now offer a range of options should you wish to hire Wren Hall.

Entrance Area

We have a disabled ramp access leading to an entrance hall with access to disabled toilet facilities.

Main New Hall (Room 1)

This new hall offers great accommodation for a medium to large sized event. Its elevated ceiling provides a great feeling of spaciousness and it benefits from maple sprung flooring covering the 8 x 16m area

The hall comes with Wi-Fi, a high performance projector and drop down screen together with an 8 speaker sound system with radio microphone plus connectivity to computer/MP3 systems. A loop system caters for those with hearing difficulties.

We have a configurable staging system together with programmable multicoloured stage lighting - the hall itself benefitting from part dimmable lighting.

Room temperatures can be controlled through our air source heating and cooling system.

Bi-fold door give access into Room 2 - shutters give access to the kitchen serving area. Further doors are used to access Room 3, the toilets and the fire escapes.

Room 2

This room is medium in size and can be hired with Room 1 & Room 3.  Hiring this room on its own is difficult due to access to the exit, toilets and kitchen. (We would be happy though to discuss individual requests)

The room size is 8 x 5m and can be set up with a free standing projector and wall mounted screen. It also has a loop system and benefits from a 6 speaker sound system with radio microphone.

Room 3

This room is presented with modern comfortable lounge furniture and a large table and chairs. It is ideally suited for use for art/craft activities, pop up café, small get togethers or small business meetings for approximately 6-8 people. Easy access to toilets and kitchen facilities.

The room size is 5 x 5m and it generally hired in conjunction with Room 2 for additional space for activities and workshops. Folding doors between Room 2 & 3 can be opened out to provide one combined area.

Kitchen

A fully equipped new kitchen was installed in 2019 complete with stainless steel commercial style units, a sterilising unit, fridge freezer, microwave, double oven/cooker, a hot water heater/boiler. It has a 5* hygiene rating.

A variety of crockery (white and also blue patterned), cutlery, glasses and tablecloths can also be made available.

Toilets

Both Male and Female toilets were completely rebuilt in 2019. Disabled facilities and baby changing facilities are also available.

Outside/General

Wren Hall enjoys a lovely rural green space which, together with an outside patio with picnic benches and an outside play area, can suit outdoor events.

We have a large car park with lighting (additional parking options are available)

The hall can be set up to cater for all events, with tables of various sizes, banquet chairs and individual free standing table lamps.

Please bear in mind when holding an event at Wren Hall, it is a requirement of the booking that you leave the hall in the same condition as it was hired to you (ie fully cleared and cleaned).

Equipment is available on-site for you to use in the cleaning process.
