Julia Mitchell Tai Chi
TAI CHI CLASSES at WREN HALL ON TUESDAY MORNINGS 10.00 - 10.45 WITH JULIA MITCHELL
Hello my name is Julia Mitchell. I discovered Tai Chi about five years ago while I was waiting for a full knee replacement. It changed my life and I honestly believe that it can change yours too.
I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in my early 30 years and have been passionate about the importance of keeping moving ever since.
Tai Chi Qigong is suitable for everyone, there is no age limit.
It can be carried out standing, seated or a combination of both. The most important thing is that nothing should hurt.
There are many potential health benefits to Tai Chi & Qigong
It can help to boost your immune system
   Improve your balance and strength
It can help you to achieve a feeling of tranquility and harmony
I have trained as a Tai Chi for Health Instructor specialising in Arthritis and fall prevention (standing or seated). I am also a Shibashi Qigong session leader (standing or seated).
I run sessions at the fabulous new Wren Hall at 10.00am on Tuesdays
I also run a session at Shrewley Village Hall at 10am on a Thursday (currently fully booked please email to go on the waiting list).
I also have a session on Zoom at 6.30pm on a Thursday
I am a qualified Health & Wellbeing coach and an Instructor with British Nordic walking. BNW are the only organisation in the  UK that teach the INWA (International Nordic walking association 10 step method)
I offer 1:2:1 and corporate activities in addition to those at the village hall.
