On a Friday in October ten intrepid  participants met up for a beginner’s foray into watercolour landscape painting with abstract landscape artist Rachel Cronin and what a treat it was.
During the course of a day Rachel took us from our first tentative watercolour brushstrokes through a ‘masterclass’ in expressive watercolour painting. Â The results speak for themselves, see pictures below.
The workshop was instigated by the Beginners Drawing Group (who had been meeting at Wren Hall) and was heavily subsidised by the Cookbook Creative Fund. Â It is hoped that the drawing group will reconvene in the New Year and with luck add watercolour painting to their repertoire.
